Booster Pads: The $0.35 Way to Skip a 3am Change

Booster pads, in plain English
A booster pad is a thin absorbent pad with no waterproof backing. It goes inside a pull-up or tab-style brief. The booster soaks first; once it is full, moisture passes into the host garment.
That's it. That's the whole product.
Equipment prescribed for a NY claim?
Send the referral and the Brooklyn desk reviews it the next business day during business hours. Prescription required.

A 20 oz booster turns a 60 oz overnight pull-up into an 80 oz one. That extra 20 oz is often the difference between one change a night and two.
At $0.35 per booster (case pricing), it's the cheapest possible upgrade in any caregiver supply budget.
How to position one
Open the pull-up or brief flat. Place the booster lengthwise along the wettest zone: front for many men, center for many women, full length for overnight. Put the host garment on as usual.
Do not double-up two regular pads. They have backsheets that block the host garment, and they can leak sideways.
What not to do
Don't use a booster as a standalone pad. It has no backsheet. It will leak.
Don't size the booster larger than the host garment. It can bunch, rub, and cause leaks.
