Adult Diaper Size Chart, Side By Side

Waist sizes vary by brand. The labels are similar; the inches behind them are not.

Use this as a quick reference, then check the chart on the back of any pack you're considering.

| Size | Typical waist (in) | Typical weight (lb) | Notes |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Small | 24-32 | 80-125 | Petite frames; teen / small adult |
| Medium | 32-40 | 125-175 | Most common |
| Large | 40-56 | 175-225 | Most common for elder care |
| X-Large | 48-64 | 200-275 | Bariatric, often the best fit for hip-to-waist mismatch |
| 2X-Large | 62-80 | 275+ | Bariatric tab brief usually the right product |

When the chart and the body disagree

Trust the body. Pant sizing lies. So does eyeballing. The tape measure is the only number that matters.
