How to Measure for Adult Diapers (Without Guessing)

How to measure for adult diapers
Fit matters more than most people think. A product that is too small can leak. A product that is too large can bunch, shift, and leak too.
You only need a tape measure and a quiet minute.
Measure the waist at the level of the navel. Not at the belt. Not where pants sit. Write the number.
Measure the hip at the widest point. Write that number too.
Pick the size on the back of the pack that covers the larger of the two.
Equipment prescribed for a NY claim?
Send the referral and the Brooklyn desk reviews it the next business day during business hours. Prescription required.
Send a DME ReferralWhat if I don't have a tape measure
Use a piece of string. Wrap it. Lay it flat against a ruler. The string is more accurate than guessing because it removes the math.
What if my parent is between sizes
Buy one bag in the smaller size. If it's snug at the leg but not painful, it's right. If it gaps, go up.
What if pant size doesn't match
It usually doesn't. Pant sizing is loose. Incontinence sizing is based on actual circumference. Trust the tape, not the closet.
