Overnight diapers: pick one that lasts the night
If you or a loved one wakes up wet, the product may not be the only issue.
Overnight leaks usually come from one of three places: the size is off, the product is meant for daytime use, or the routine needs one more layer of protection.
Here is the simple way to check.

Waist at the navel. Not the pant size. Not where the belt sits. The navel.
Hip at the widest point. The inches at the navel and the inches at the hip rarely match. Pick the size that fits the larger of the two.
Weight is the tiebreaker when waist and hip put you between sizes. Heavier person, bigger size.
Absorbency, in ounces
Daytime pull-ups: 24-40 oz. Overnight pull-ups: 60+ oz. Bariatric overnight briefs: 90+ oz. Booster pads add 13-20 oz to whatever they're stuffed inside.
Our overnight pull-up is 64 oz. The bariatric brief is 95. The booster is 20.

- Leg gap → size up, or move from pull-up to tab brief.
- Saturated by 4am → 20 oz booster inside.
- Back leakage when sleeping → high-rise overnight pull-up.
- Skin redness → switch to no-rinse cleanser, add barrier cream, change more often.
When to call for help
