Travel. Quick changes. The middle of the night when you're in a hurry. Wipes are pre-moistened, individually portable, and disposable.
Look for: aloe, vitamin E, no fragrance. Flushable if your plumbing handles it (ours do; not all do).
When cleanser wins
Skin is starting to break down. Redness in the creases. Multiple changes per day. Anyone with sensitive or fragile skin.
A no-rinse cleanser foams on, you wipe with a soft cloth or paper towel, no rinsing. The pH is closer to skin (5.5 vs 7+ for soap). It does less damage over time.
What we recommend
Keep both. Cleanser at home for the morning and night routine. Wipes in the bag for everything in between.
What to skip
Baby wipes for adult care. They're sized for babies and the formula is different. They can dry out adult skin faster than help.
